Doxy Vibrator… the NEW Go-To Powerful Plug-in!

I was recently introduced to the Doxy and I must admit, I wasn’t quite sure.  While I’m a “self-proclaimed power-girl”, I favor the Jimmyjane Form 2 to the Hitatchi Magic Wand.  I know that may be heresy in this industry, but the lack of vibrational control, and the cord, in addition to the bulbous head made the Hitachi unattractive to me.  Crazy, right?

So, being open minded on new experiences, I went home with the Doxy, ready to see what this new, ginormous gadget was all about.  While the size can be intimidating… the toy itself was easy to use, and quite comfortable to maneuver.  I really liked the adjustable controls, and soft head.

We-Vibe Thrill

I’m a huge fan of the We-Vibe line of couples products, and I was “thrilled” (no pun intended) to try the new We-Vibe Thrill. Similar in design to their popular couples massager, this is a solo massager for her. Meant for external and internal stimulation at just the press of a button! Made of soft sleek silicone in a ruby red and silver color, this vibe is fully rechargeable and fully waterproof! No batteries needed, and you can charge it with any wall outlet, and you can even charge it at the computer with the added USB charger! Eco-friendly and super easy to use. The waterproof design also means that is easy to clean (anti-bacterial soap and water works great) and can even be used in the bathtub. Meant for use with water-based lubricants, this toy is both pretty, modern in design, and makes a great gift for the lady in your life! We-Vibe’s known for quality design and vibration, so I was curious to see how the Thrill compared to the original We-Vibe couples massager.

The Thrill only has one button. I love that. Super easy to use. Similar to the We-Vibe Touch, one button lets you turn the toy on and off, plus browse through the vibration speeds and settings. The button is at the base of the top of the toy. The toy itself looks like a lower case letter e. The button part is curved upward, this is the internal part meant for G-spot stimulation. Once inserted, the base on the silver part of the toy has the button right within reach. The button is also where you charge the Thrill. Attach the charger to the silver prongs on the button, the charger will attach magnetically to the toy and begin to charge. The button is seamless and easy to press. The flat end of the toy is meant for external stimulation. The open part of the toy is a finger hole for holding onto the Thrill. The G-spot part of the toy is curved upward, with a tapered tip and slightly flat end for resting against the G-spot. The silicone of the toy is quite firm but also has a bit of flexibility. The vibration is whisper quiet! This toy is definitely discreet and quiet and can’t be heard from behind a closed door. I like how the silicone feels and how quiet the vibration is even on the highest setting. There are 4 vibration speed settings and 4 vibration mode settings. The vibration speeds go from a low to a nice high vibration. I like the rumbly vibration of the We Vibe toys, and it’s nice in the Thrill. The vibration modes go from a slower vibration to more quicker thumping vibration. To browse through the speeds, press the button to turn the toy on and continue to press until you reach the speed or setting that you like most. To turn the toy off, press and hold the button for 3 seconds or so. Super easy! As for how the toy fits, women’s bodies are not one size fits all, so the placement of the G-spot stimulator and the external stimulator edge may vary for woman to woman. You can try to adjust the toy to fit you after insertion. The G-spot end isn’t too long, so it will work best with anatomies that have a lower G-spot and probably a lower set clitoris. The entire toy vibrates and you will feel nice vibration all over the vulva area, and internal part of the toy. I find that the toy will work best if sitting, rather than lying down, as sitting will create a more shallow depth. This toy might not work for every body, but that’s not uncommon of dual stimulator toys, so it’s really something you need to try and also check the dimensions of before you try it out. Review: LELO Oden 2

When I found out that LELO was going to be releasing new updated versions of their SenseMotion line, I was definitely interested in seeing if the new improved versions would make me like the collection better, and it did! These new improved versions of SenseMotion are basically what I think most of us were hoping for with the first editions of the toy. LELO Oden 2, th4e Design Edition, looks just like the original Oden, with a few improvements to make the toy better than the previous version. First off, the engine is a little more powerful. The sensor inside of the toy is a lot more stable also, so the toy will remain working even if the sensor isn’t right next to the toy. There is a lot more control over the Oden now, which is great because as a couples toy, you want a product that delivers without too much fuss. LELO Oden 2 is made of body-safe metallic colored ABS plastic and smooth matte silicone in a black color, the toy fits in the palm of your hand, and is both waterproof and rechargeable. This cock ring can be used in the shower or tub, and it can be sanitized by washing with warm soap and water and drying with a lint-free cloth. The non porous silicone material is easy to clean, just be sure to cleanse the silver plastic ring around the base of the toy well. You can also use a toy cleanser or toy cleaner wipe all over the toy, these work well when cleaning the remote controller and the silver plastic parts of the toy. Oden works well with water-based lube, and shouldn’t be used with silicone lubricants. Oden 2 works as a couples toy that is placed around the penis, to act as a cock ring during sex. Oden is shaped similar to the LELO Tiani, except that on of it’s pliable arms is shaped in a ring, to be put around the base of the cock. The remote control that comes with the toy is a round disc remote with a metallic silver plastic back, and a smooth silicone front, where you will find the user buttons. The buttons look the same as the control buttons on the first Insignia model, they are still seamless and quite easy to press. The Oden 2 itself, as a wireless button to press to turn on, then as the remote button is pressed to turn on, the cockring wirelessly connects to the remote and then the remote may be used to control the toy. However, with this new model, the toy can also be used without the remote! I think this is one of the best new features of the Oden 2, that it can be controlled alone, which I think can be easier for couples to use while in the throws of passion. The Oden 2 opens at the silver metallic band, twists open to show the charging port. You plug the charger into the port, and allow the toy to charge with an electrical outlet. The cockring part itself, is quite stretchy, and when placed properly on the penis it stays put. It can be used in a variety of positions, and even in the shower or bath. Oden 2 boasts 50% more power, which can definitely be noticed when compared to the first edition Oden, however it’s still not a super intense vibration. I do like LELO’s rumbly motors though, and I tend to think that their vibration resonates deeply enough to bring me to orgasm. This new updated version also allows for 3 times greater range for wireless use with the remote control, and while the first SenseMotion editions did have some flaws when connecting wirelessly, I found that the problem was fixed with this new edition! This is another great thing about the Oden.

The new Oden 2 also comes with an additional attachment for variety when using the ring, this separate attachment offers a closed off ring for a more snug fit around the cock. I found that both rings were stretchy and could probably fit most men, as the rings stretch to about 2 inches in diameter. The toy is lightweight and discreet, and I still like the modern high-tech look of the Oden. If you wanted to try the first edition Oden, but had doubts, your money will be better spent with this new design edition! The improvements make it a toy worth looking into. Oden 2 is very quiet and doesn’t make too much noise, so it’s ideal for use even with roommates in the next room. The SenseMotion technology is still there, so even though the toy can now be used without a remote control if you’d like, it also can be used with the control, and all it takes is a move of the wrist to take the vibrations from soft an steady to nice and rumbly. You still power the toy with the +/- and Insignia buttons, and they work much like before, with browsing through the vibration settings and vibration patterns. If this is your first time using a SenseMotion toy, I do suggest reading the instruction manual, as it will help quite a bit to figure out exactly how the toy works and which buttons will take you where you want to go without all the muss and fuss. I’m quite pleased with the new Oden 2, the upgrades along with the added attachment is a nice new feature, as well as the fact that the remote works so nicely in this new edition! Review: LELO Smart Wand Vibrator Massager

When I read the press release for the new LELO Smart Wand, I was thrilled to find out that LELO was finally releasing their own wand massager! Wand style massagers are quite popular, and for good reason. They usually offer a lot of power, and the larger area on a wand head offers a nice amount of stimulation, so I was really excited to see LELO’s take on a wand massager. The SmartWand is fully rechargeable, so there are no cords to fuss with, and it doesn’t requite batteries, so this option is a bit more eco-friendly. The toy is also waterproof, and can be used in the shower or bath! This vibe also offers LELO’s SenseMotion technology, similar to the Lyla, Oden and Tiani, this technology allows for vibration that can be controlled with movement rather than buttons. The Smart Wand comes in either a Plum, White, or Black color, and this particular model is the Medium size. It measures in at nearly 9 inches in length with a little over 2 inches around. It’s made of sleek matte silicone, and body safe ABS plastic. Silicone covers most of the body of the toy, with a silver metallic plastic section along the inner part of the handle. I would have loved if the entire toy was silicone, as it would have been a bit easier to clean and more seamless, but the design is still very pretty and quite easy to clean despite this. The toy can be cleaned with anti-bacterial soap and water, sex toy cleanser or spray, or sex toy wipes. Since the toy has a mostly silicone body, I suggest only using water-based lubes with this toy as silicone lube could make the silicone material on the toy tacky or sticky. The wand weighs around 5.5 oz, and the handle is slightly curved for you to hold onto during use. The head of the toy is smooth and round, and fits nicely against the body. The head of the toy is completely seamless, as is most of the body of the toy, the only seam being the silicone around where the silver plastic handle is featured. The neck of the toy is pliable and can move and bend slightly with you body, making the toy ideal for any part of the body as it contours to your curves. The toy is marketed as a body massager, as most toys of this type are, but since it’s a LELO toy, of course they also expect you to enjoy it on your clit just as much (er, actually much more) as you would on your shoulders I really like the design of the toy. It’s the most luxurious wand massager I’ve ever seen on the market, and the design is very pretty and modern…a definite difference in design than the old school (yet totally fantastic) wand massagers of yesteryear.

The LELO Smart Wand Medium comes in different packaging than the usual LELO box. This outer box is white and features the Smart Wand photo and information, then instead of the signature black LELO gift box inside, the gift box is white, with the LELO logo on the front. The toy also comes with LELO’s 1 year limited warranty, user manual, toy charger and storage pouch. The Smart Wand features 8 different vibration patterns, from a constant vibration to a more pulsing vibe to an undulating vibe. This toy features the usual Insignia user buttons, + and – and the Insignia logo in the center. The buttons are completely seamless and very easy to press, even during use. Press the Insignia button in the center to turn the toy on, and then you can use the + /- buttons to browse vibration patterns. Since this is an Insignia toy with SenseMotion, you can also activate the SenseTouch feature to use the toy without having to use the user buttons. Simply press and hold the Insignia button in the center for a fee seconds until the LED under the silicone beneath it blinks, then press the head of the vibrator against our body and the vibration will intensify the more it is pressed to the body. If you want soft vibration, just barely hold it against your skin. If you’d like more intense vibration, press the head of the massager more firmly against your skin and the vibration speed with become stronger. I thought it was a fun feature to play with, and this mode can be used all over the body, including when held against your clit or even your neck. It also feels nice against the breasts, or kneaded over the ass. It works nicely as a back massager, and can be fun to use with a partner. You could even hold the head of the massager against your clit during sex with a partner.

The motor on the toy is pretty quiet, so the toy is discreet and can be used without being heard through a door. I really like that this wand is waterproof! It’s awesome to be able to use a wand massager in the shower, and I really like the slightly smaller wand head as compared to wand head of the Hitachi. The SmartWand offers nice moderately high power, it’s similar in strength to their other Insignia toys, possibly a bit more powerful. If you’re looking for a super powerful wand vibe, this might not be it. However, if you’re looking for a wand style vibrator that has a pretty design, is quiet, and features nice rumbly vibration and is also waterproof and rechargeable then you’ll like the Smart Wand. It’s SenseTouch technology also makes for a fun feature that other wand massagers don’t have. The toy is easy to use, and it’s luxury look and feel is a nice addition to the wand style. I personally like the LELO motors…I don’t use LELO toys only for their vibration power, I use it for the quality of vibration rather than intensity. LELO motors seem to create nice rumbly vibration for me that brings me to orgasm. If you’re looking for high vibration intensity that will rival the Hitachi, you won’t find it with the Smart Wand, but you will find a nice design, quality vibration, and fun features that create versatility and ease of use!

Intensity by Jopen

Introducing the Intensity by Jopen, the sex toy that is both a Kegel exerciser and vibrator. Kegels are an important part of sexual health for women, though some find it tedious, they are very beneficial and help to strengthen the muscles of the pelvic floor, which can help you achieve more powerful orgasms. Jopen is known for creating quality vibration paired with a silicone body. Intensity is similar in design, though along with vibration, it has an inflatable shaft! Unique, huh? The only other inflatable insertable I can think of is the shoddy anal blow up dildos that you couldn’t even pay me to use, so this is a far cry from other blowup toys on the market. Jopen works as a G-spot and clitoral vibrator, paired with the kegel technology that helps you use the toy simply as a pelvic exerciser or as a vibrator, or both. I think the technology behind this toy is really awesome, and after seeing the toy for myself and checking it out, I feel like I can recommend it to my readers, for various reasons. Intensity comes with a user manual, gel, the toy, and it all comes in the purple Jopen Intensity box. The Intensity is made of a matte silicone, with a smooth texture, and the toy should only be used with water-based lubricants. To clean the intensity, you can wash it with anti-bacterial soap and water, or a toy cleanser spray or wipe. This toy is not waterproof, so use care when cleaning, to dry the toy wipe with a lint-free cloth. The shaft is ribbed, and there is a small clitoral stimulator at the top of the shaft to stimulate your clit while the toy stimulates you internally. So, how does the Kegel exerciser work, you ask? Really interestingly so. See, the metal parts on the shaft, these are electrodes. This is where you apply a bit of the electrode gel that comes with the toy, after inserting the shaft of the toy you simply inflate the shaft as much or as little as you’d like, to achieve the fit that you like best, then you can turn the toy on and browse through the vibration settings. So, where do the electrodes come in? The electrodes emits pulses that make your vaginal muscles contract, as if in orgasm, to help strengthen your PC muscles, and in turn, work your kegels out. Finally, Kegels for my lazy Kegel-doing ass! I love kegels and find them so beneficial, but sometimes I get distracted while doing them and don’t focus as much as I should…but the Intensity does the work for me. Ahhh technology…

The shaft is just over 5 inches of insertable length, with the shaft being 1.5 inches un-inflated, and can go up to 2.5 inches inflated. The control buttons on the toy are located at the handle, and are quite easy to press and navigate even while the toy is in use. All together there are 10 electrostim settings, which offers a lot of versatility for you to find the right amount that fits your body and will be suitable for your specific taste/needs. I really like how female friendly the toy is, and how versatile this device really is. I also like that it offers a clit stimulator along with the vaginal electrodes and the inflatable shaft. This toy is really cool in design and functionality. Unlike other toys in the Jopen line of toys, Intensity is not rechargeable. You might wonder why? It’s to make the toy an affordable option, because of the technology inside and the electrode stimulation, adding rechargeable elements would raise the cost even more, and since the toy is already costly (worth it, though, in my opinion!) it helps to maintain a more attainable price. The toy does require 4 AAA batteries.

I really like this toy. When I had first heard of it, it piqued my interest a little bit, but after receiving the toy and getting the chance to really see how it works and feel the intensity (it’s aptly named so) of the electrode power paired with the orgasms it produces, plus exercising the pelvic muscles, this toy was an instant winner for me! If you appreciate technology, and want a luxury toy that isn’t just whistles and bows and actually *works* to create great orgasms, while having a user friendly shape/design, and patented Kegel technology, this is the toy for you. I’ve recommending this toy a lot lately to all who will listen.

Je Joue Mio

Je Joue recently came out with a few new vibrators, but they also came out with a fun couples toy, the Je Joue Mio cock ring. This erection ring is the first cock ring in the Je Joue line of toys, and I think they got it right on their first try! This toy is awesome. The Je Joue Mio is similar in shape to the Je Joue MiMi, it looks like a MiMi donut, with a hole in the center This toy is fully rechargeable, waterproof, and it’s made of gorgeous buttery soft matte silicone. The finish of the toy is velvety smooth and feels wonderful against the skin. The ring is pretty lightweight and fits in the palm of your hand. The ring measures 3 inches in length with the ring being quite stretchy. The ring is thick, thicker than the LELO Tor II which I recently reviewed as well…I also found that the ring of Mio is stretchier than the ring of the Tor II. The top of the Mio is also rounded while the Tor II is flat. The cock ring is waterproof and can be used in the bathtub or shower, it’s also very easy to clean since it can be washed under the faucet without worrying about getting water into any crevice. The toy charges magnetically, no need to plug the toy in, there is no charging hole. The toy offers three buttons, one center button that looks like a ~ while the other larger buttons are a + and – and both are magnetic. You connect the magnetic charger to the magnetic +/- buttons and plug the charger into an outlet. The LED light on the toy blinks to let you know that the toy is charging, when the battery is too low, the light blinks red.

The toy should not be used if you’re using silicone lube, only use waterbased lube so that you don’t damage the luscious silicone. The ring can be stretched and placed over the erect penis, while the ring holds the cock and helps you stay harder for longer, the vibrations stimulate the penis and can also simulate your partner during sex,especially in the girl on top position where the top of the ring can hit her clit. This is why I adore the round shape of the top of the ring, great for grinding your clit against! Once the toy is turned on, you can choose a vibration speed by continuing to press the + button until you reach the vibration strength that you like best. To go to a previous vibration level, press the – button. If you want to use a vibration pattern, press the middle ~ button.
