Vibratex Blue Delilah Vibrator Review

By Joan Price

Vibratex Blue Delilah aims to address our complaints that dual action (“rabbit” style) vibrators don’t allow for variations in anatomy when determining how far apart the clitoris and G-spot are “supposed” to be. This charmer of a toy leaves that to us!

Blue Delilah has two completely separate vibrators connected by a long, coiled cord like a phone cord (yes, youngsters, phones used to have cords). The vaginal/G-spot stimulator is totally separate from a bullet vibrator with two optional sleeves — one makes it a clitoral vibrator, the other is for anal pleasure.

Vibratex Blue Delilah Vibrator
The vaginal section is shaped with a curve (the better to find your G-spot), and I like that the head is tapered for easy insertion. It gyrates when turned on.
Vibratex Blue Delilah Vibrator
The clitoral sleeve is sort of cup shaped, with little tentacles inside the cup that wiggle around when the bullet is turned on.

The cord can be stretched to five feet. You don’t need a cord so long for solo play, unless your clitoris is down the hall from your vagina, but it does make it easier for partner play. For example, you could start out using both vaginal and clitoral stimulation from the Delilah, and then when it came time for partner penetratrion, you could easily set the large part of the Delilah aside and far enough away to stay out of the way, while still using the clitoral bullet. On my own, I found the cord did get in the way and had to be flipped aside a few times, but it didn’t become distracting.

Blue Delilah uses 4 AA batteries. The bullet and the G-spotter are controlled separately, so you can have one on strong vibrations, the other mild if you like. I would have liked the clitoral intensity a notch higher, but most people would consider it quite strong turned all the way up.

The parts of the Blue Delilah that touch your privates are made of 100% elastomer, a soft, squishy material compatible with water or silicone based lubricants.

Blue Delilah came to me from the wonderful Trystology, a woman-run shop with a living room environment in Ventura, CA, offering hand-picked sensual products for your delight.

OhMiBod Club Vibe Review

By Splendwhore

Today we’ll be taking a look at the Club Vibe by OhMiBod. OhMiBod is a product line developed by the brilliant bombshell Suki Dunham. The Club Vibe, like every other product in their line, is what is known as a music-driven vibrator. This tiny inconspicuous bullet literally encourages you to ‘feel the music’ by translating your favorite songs into an orchestra of pleasure. Just stick it in your panties and take it for a test drive! The Club Vibe is designed for use in both private and public settings.  It can be used in manual mode as a plain old pattern vibrator, in music mode by attaching it to an mp3 player, or in ambient mode. Probably one of the best ways to use this baby is by switching it to ambient mode and wearing it to a club or concert. Ambient mode will detect sound around you through the speaker holes on the control pack, and relay it to the itty bitty pink bullet in your pants, which will consequently buzz in merriment to the music. The result? Wet panties and a damn good time.
OhMiBod Club Vibe Vibrator
The Club Vibe is compiled of a variety of parts. The first and most important part is the control pack. The control pack is made of ABS plastic, and has a smooth, velvety finish to it. It’s black with pink markings, rectangular in shape, and about the size of my palm. It has a clip on the back to easily attach it to your pants/skirt/etc, and is fairly inconspicuous, if a bit larger than I’d like. In total, the control pack is 3″ long, 1 1/2″ wide, and about an inch thick. Like I said, nothing too ridiculous size-wise. You could easily hide this under a jacket or shirt, as long as you’re careful to keep the speaker holes free of obstruction. The second piece of the puzzle is the vibe itself; a cute pink bullet roughly 1 3/4″ long, with a 30″ transparent cord attached to its butt. The bullet is made of that same velvety finish ABS plastic, and is hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and both phthalates and latex free. Yay for body-safe sex toys! The third item you will receive is a 55″ long black cord which connects the control pack to your mp3 player, and your mp3 player to your headphones. This item is only required when using the Club Vibe in music mode. If you plan on using it for its ambient or manual settings only, you’ll have little use for this cord. The last little goody that comes with your Club Vibe is a cute black thong, thoughtfully folded up in a small drawstring OhMiBod storage pouch. The thong is made mainly of cotton, with lacy accents. It has quite a bit of stretch and will fit a range of sizes. However, it should be noted that it’s marketed as a ‘one size fits most’, not one size fits all, item. Trust me when I say it really isn’t a huge loss if the panties don’t fit. I, personally, found the panties to be more of a hindrance than a help in my quest for orgasms.

Let’s talk about function here for a minute. The Club Vibe has three modes of play: manual mode, music mode, and ambient mode. You can change modes using a textured switch on the side of the control pack. When in manual mode, there are 7 preset functions to choose from. The first three settings are steady vibrations in low, medium, and high. Or, in the case of the Club Vibe, more like medium, high,  and OMG higher! The last four settings are a mixture of pulsing/escalating patterns, some of which are quite rhythmic all on their own. The vibrations can be felt along the entire length of the bullet, and are pretty incredibly strong. It should be noted that the vibes are rather buzzy, however. If you’re not a fan of buzzy vibes, this should still be pretty amazing for you, but then again, it may not. The vibrations honestly made me itch a bit at first. Anyways, back to the modes! When in music mode, the bullet will vibrate to the sound of whatever song your mp3 player happens to be playing. You can control the intensity of the vibrations by either turning up the music, or adjusting the dial on the bottom of the control pack. Nothing against the presets, but music mode is so much more fun and unpredictable! Ambient mode is the last of the three. Much like music mode, the bullet will vibrate to the sound of music. However, it picks up the beat of music around you, rather than through an mp3 device. All three modes have a little something special to offer, and help to insure you pretty much never get bored with this toy!

OhMiBod Club Vibe Vibrator

So, how do we use this bad boy? I’ll break it down for you in five relatively simple steps. Step One: Insert the batteries. The Club Vibe runs on two AAA batteries (included) which are inserted  in the back of the control pack underneath the belt clip. Slide the battery cover off (you may need to battle with it for a few minutes), insert batteries, and return cover to its rightful place. Step Two: Connect the controller to the bullet. Merely plug the cord attached to the bullet into the top of the control pack, and phase two is complete. Step Three: Don the combination cotton/lace thong, slip the bullet into the pouch in the panties, adjust as necessary. If you’re having difficulty getting the bullet to stay in place well, or aren’t receiving sufficient stimulation while it’s tucked inside the panties, experiment until you find something that works for you. Nestling the bullet between my lips seemed to be the most efficient and fulfilling for me. It stayed in place MUCH better, and I could actually feel the power this vibe has to offer. This bullet packs some intense vibrations, and you don’t want to miss out on them just because the bullet pouch in your underwear is too high or low for your anatomy. Don’t be afraid to go against the grain and try something different! Step Four: Connect the controller to your mp3 player. Here’s where that huge black cord comes into play. Pay attention, this is where it gets confusing. You’re going to plug one end of this cord into the control pack, the other end into your mp3 player’s headphone jack, and then plug your headphones into the extra headphone jack dangling off the cord. Note: If you’re using the Club Vibe’s ambient or manual mode, feel free to ignore step four and skip straight ahead to step five. Which brings us to our final destination; Step Five: Activate device. Enjoy music of choice.

Once you’ve wound down from your pleasure high, be sure to properly care for your Club Vibe by dissembling it, and cleaning up with your method of choice. I prefer good old antibacterial soap and warm water, but toy wipes, toy cleaner, or isopropyl alcohol are all viable options as well.  Wash and dry the panties like you would your delicates (don’t worry, they stand up fairly well to the big bad machines). When all is said and done, return each and every piece to its rightful place in the original packaging. Or, you can just do what I do and cram it all in the storage pouch. I know it seems small, but that thing can stretch! Give it a try, you’ll be amazed!

OhMiBod Club Vibe Vibrator
Alright, here’s where I’m going to nitpick. There were a few things I disliked about this product; not many, but a few. First of all, I wasn’t very impressed with the ambient mode. You really have to be in a loud club or concert-like setting for ambient mode to work well. If the music isn’t loud enough, you have to be very, very, close to the source of the noise for the Club Vibe to detect much. Nitpick #2: The panties. The panties didn’t work well for me at all. The pouch that’s meant to hold the bullet was never in the right position to stimulate my clitoris, and the vibrations I did feel were way diffused because of the fabric.  My biggest problem with this toy, however, were the miles and miles of cord. I honestly felt like I had a fucking wire down my pants; like the FBI was investigating my genitals for ‘suspicious activity’ or something. The wires aren’t that big of a deal in ambient or manual mode. However, music mode is my setting of choice, which means whipping out the huge black cord and connecting the bullet to the control pack to my mp3 player to my headphones every damn time I want to use this! It then becomes somewhat of a big corded mess. I would not suggest doing much moving around while in this state, for fear of entanglement. My only question is, why the hell isn’t this wireless? The majority of the OhMiBod line has gotten with the program and gone cordless, why not the Club Vibe? [/end nitpick]Alright, so spoiled grumbling aside, let me just say that I really enjoyed the OhMiBod Club Vibe. It’s a great sample of this extraordinary, innovative, truly original product line. There is literally nothing else like this on the market right now, and if you don’t give at least one of OhMiBod’s products a try, you are seriously missing out my friend! You can find the OhMiBod Club Vibe and other OhMiBod products at Trystology! A big thanks to the folks over there for sponsoring this review. Thank you again!

Je Joue MiMi Review

Meet MiMi. The Je Joue MiMi, that is. Soft, velvety smooth, pretty, discreet, fits in the palm of your hand, rechargeable, and fully waterproof. Do I have your attention yet? MiMi is the newest edition to Je Joue’s line of sex toys. I was a big fan of the SaSi, Je Joue’s first toy release which was meant for clitoral stimulation. Je Joue also released two other toys, one for the G-spot and one as a Kegel exerciser. I was excited to check out their newest clit toy MiMi, and take it for a little test drive. MiMi comes packaged in a beautiful black gift box, emblazoned with the Je Joue logo. The top of the box is fastened with black ribbon and when you untie it, the lid flips backward to revel the toy and all of it’s contents. MiMi literally fits in the palm of your hand. The silicone finish is sinfully smooth, it’s one of the softest most buttery velvety silicone toys I’ve ever felt. It’s beautifully designed as a small pebble, almost like a flat egg, or somewhat of a tongue, with the base being a little fatter and then the shaft moving downward to a more thinner tip. There is a small Je Joue detailed logo on one side of the toy, and the silicone covering the toy is seamless, which aides in helping to make this toy truly waterproof. You’ll also receive a charger and user manual along with the toy. So how do you charge this toy? Easy! On the bottom of the toy, at the base, you’ll find a small interface that consists of a rounded + and – sign. The buttons are raised slightly and are made of body safe ABS plastic. After plugging the charger into an electrical outlet, you simply place the other end of the charger right against the buttons, and it magnetically connects, thus charging your toy! I love that there are no open holes or ports on the toy, and that it charges magnetically, it makes me feel confident about the true waterproof qualities of this vibe.

Je Joue MiMi comes in 4 different colors, Pink, shown above, which I have, and also Black, Je Joue’s signature Purple color, and Rose which is a deep bright pink. To power the toy, you simply press and hold the + button for 3 seconds or so. The toy will turn on to it’s lowest speed setting. You can then press the + button again, each time changing to a higher speed setting, once you reach the highest speed setting it will then let you start to browse through it’s vibration patterns that range from a slow pulsating vibe to a deeper bumping vibe. To back track to a previous setting, press the – button. You can also shut the toy off, no matter what vibration setting you are on, by firmly pressing and holding the – button. No need to backtrack through all of the previous speeds, this is helpful when needing to shut the toy off suddenly because of a knock on the door or a nosey roommate. Also, the buttons don’t truly give when you press them, they are firm plastic that remains pretty stationary with little give to them, so you simply need to press firmly against the plastic and the functions will work. Each time you press the buttons a red light will blink once on the body of the toy at the Je Joue logo to show you that it’s changing settings or turning on/off. Which can be helpful if you’re using the toy in the dark. Clean up is a breeze, you can wash the toy down completely or use anti-bacterial wipes. No need to worry about getting moisture into any pesky seams or grooves in the toy. Since the toy is waterproof, it also means it can be used in the bathtub, shower, or even pool. Since the toy is mostly made of silicone, be sure to only use water-based lubricants with this toy.

So how did I like MiMi? A heck of a lot. First off, besides the look and luscious feel of the toy, I loved it’s power! For a toy of it’s size (think the Lelo Nea in terms of smallness) it’s pretty darn powerful! It offers 5 levels of speed, and then 5 modes of vibration. The highest vibration speed was awesome! I loved the rumbly feeling of the vibrations, they resonate deeply and aren’t buzzy or pitchy, so for me, the vibrations seemed to vibrate throughout my clit and entire vulva area. I love the silky smooth feeling of this toy! I don’t know what makes this toy feel even softer than my other silicone toys, but I like it. It’s buttery soft and feels wonderful nestled between my inner labia. You can hold the toy in any way that you want, resting the tip of the MiMi against your clit with the toy sideways and the side of the toy between your labia, or you can hold the toy from the front and feel the full front of the tip. I found that both worked wonderfully, but I especially liked using the toy by sliding it sideways between my labia with the tip up against my clit. This toy did a great job of massaging the entire vulva, and it was pretty fabulous against my clit. The toy is small enough to fit in your palm, or to be held at the base with your fingers. I used the toy both ways, and didn’t really notice my fingers getting numbed out by the toy, even at the highest setting. It was pretty comfortable to hold, and even though my fingers had a bit of lube on them the toy didn’t slip out of my hand.

It was a little hard to change the vibration settings while in use, because I couldn’t see the + and – buttons while the toy was in use and with lubed fingers, and also because you need firm pressure when pressing against the buttons, so that was really the only semi-hard part of using the MiMi, it was hardly a deter from using it though! The toy is pretty quiet for the intensity of the vibration too, even at the highest setting it was pretty quiet and would be pretty safe to use behind closed doors without worry of being heard. The first time I used this toy I had a pretty amazing orgasm from it, one of the best orgasms I’ve had from toy use in awhile. Needless to say, I’m pretty much hooked on MiMi now! I love it for it’s feel, look, and vibration intensity. It’s discreet, pretty, the silicone is as smooth as I’ve ever felt, it’s pretty quiet, and it’s vibrations are strong enough to send me over the edge again and again. I tested MiMi in the shower to get a feel for it’s waterproof quality, and it was awesome. Made cleaning up so much more fun. I found it easy to use the toy while standing up because of the great flattened shape of the toy. I also think this toy would be great for couples play. You can tease the flat wide side against your partners body, massaging them, or you can it hold it against their genitals. Men can use the toy too! MiMi would be great massaged against a man’s balls and perineum during oral sex. Since MiMi is small in size, you can even hold the vibrator between your bodies during sex, or hold the MiMi against your clit while your partner enters you. So this toy is great for solo or couple play. I am smitten with MiMi. The quality is amazing and what I’ve come to know and expect from the Je Joue brand. This is a true luxury toy, at a fraction of the cost! There are other luxury toys on the market right now that cost double what MiMi does yet that I think pale in comparison. This toy retails for under $100, which is a steal for what you’re getting. I highly recommend this toy to any one who loves luxury toys but doesn’t want to have to pay a luxury price! Je Joue’s MiMi is definitely a winner. Ladies check this toy out, I really think you’ll be pleased…in more way than one!

Liberator Heart Wedge Review

Liberator Heart Wedge Sex PillowIt was love at first sight, when I laid my eyes on the Liberator Heart Wedge. How cute is this?! Made by Liberator, one of my favorite sex position aid shape companies, comes this adorable little Heart Wedge. Made of plush material that feels velvety soft to the touch, this décor style pillow is perfect for decoration in the bedroom and also for helping achieve sexual positioning. This wedge is a pretty Merlot Wine color and it looks quality, it’s something I’ve come to expect from Liberator. I love the rounded shape of the top of the heart and the smooth pointed end. The top surface of the heart is similar to that of the Liberator ramp, only much smaller and compact in size. This wedge can be used for G-spot positioning, anal sex positioning, and even for reclining against during oral or manual sex. I love using my Heart Wedge for masturbation too! Like all Liberator shapes, the top cover of this Wedge can be unzipped and tossed in the wash, inside the insulation/plush part of the shape will retain it’s shape for many uses to come. You can also wipe down the wedge fairly easy with a damp cloth or even some anti-bacterial spray. I love the incline on the top of the wedge, it’s perfect for leaning back on and it offers great positioning when bending over the wedge, or even having the wedge beneath your ass, offering you some height during missionary or from the front sex. I love the size of this shape! It’s big enough to get the job done, but small enough that I can storage it next to my bed, under my bed, or even in my closet. Also, it’s super discreet! You can keep it on your bedspread and no one would be privy to what you *really* use it for! It looks just like a pretty pillow.

Liberator Heart Sex Pillow

The wedge has a Liberator logo embroidered on the side of the heart, laying on a bed you would be none the wiser that it’s actually a sex positioning aid. I love the firm yet pliable feeling of the shape. It feels comfortable on my back, my elbows, my knees. Leaning against it, lying across it, in a variety of different positions. It has a festive and romantic quality to this shape too, since it is heart shaped, instead of a basic shape like other Liberator position shapes. I found that the quality of this Heart Wedge was just as nice as some of the more expensive Liberator shapes, so this is a great deal and a perfect addition to any bedroom whether you’re single or prone to sharing. I used this Heart Wedge on the bed, on the floor, and even on the couch. I found that if I lay it on my bed, I can easily lay over it and assume the from behind position, which I sometimes like to be in during G-spot stimulation. It felt comfortable, and was easy to lean on which allowed me a more comfortable position for both dildo and vibrator use. This would be a great shape for anyone who is curious about the Liberator line or products but has yet to try them out, or for the seasoned Liberator pro! Wanna get your very own Liberator Heart Wedge? You can find it in both Merlot and Black colors at Trystology.

Vibrator Review: LELO Ina

Written by Scarlet Lotus St. Syr

Ina is remarkably similar to Mona, in fact they came out at the same time and are nearly identical except Ina is a dual-action vibrator and therefore has an additional arm jutting out from the top of it designed to hit the clit. I’ve not reviewed or experienced too many dual-action vibrators, I tend to steer clear of them since they are so anatomy dependent and usually not made out of silicone, but my LELO fetish made Ina impossible to resist obtaining. My quest to own every LELO product would not be put aside simply because of the possibility of Ina not lining up with me perfectly.

At first I was mildly indifferent to this toy, thinking I would love Mona more and that no LELO item could top my beloved Gigi. I knew Ina would be gorgeous and wonderful, still an amazing pleasure object simply by nature of being made by LELO, but since dual-action style vibrators are so anatomy dependent I wasn’t sure it would work with me. I was encouraged by other reviews of it, as it seems to be one of those toys that either works for you perfectly or is an absolute failure, and I had to find out which it would be for me. Ina exceeded all of my expectations and then some.

Like all LELO toys Ina comes in a fancy black box with a sleeve over it that matches the color of the toy inside. I had thought I wanted a purple Ina, but upon receiving my lime green Ina I was instantly in love with the color. The box contains the toy, a charging cord (all LELO toys are rechargeable), a multi-language instructional booklet, a one-year warranty, and LELO’s 10-year quality guarantee. If anything goes wrong with Mona within ten years after purchasing LELO will recycle Mona and give you 50% off your next purchase.

Ina’s controls are the newfangled design identical to Mona and Siri. There are four buttons arranged in a diamond near the bottom of the toy: an up arrow (top), a down arrow (bottom), a plus button (right), and a minus button (left). The plus and minus buttons control the intensity of the vibrations and the up and down buttons control the vibration type. As I already mentioned, Ina is rechargeable. When plugged in the buttons of the toy flash white and turn solid when Ina is fully charged. If you use Ina to the point of a nearly drained battery the buttons will conveniently let you know of this by glowing red when you try to turn it on.

Like all of LELO’s newest vibrators Ina is stronger and less buzzy than it’s predecessors. One of the noteworthy things about Ina’s design that is becoming more and more common among luxury sex toys is there are two separate motors inside of it, one in the insertable shaft and the other at the tip of the clitoral arm.

Ina has eight vibration settings which take advantage of the double motors with patterns that shift from one motor to the other. For the most part I just use the first setting, a constant vibration in both the shaft and the arm. The other vibration settings are: vibration mostly in the shaft and a little in the arm, vibration mostly in the arm and a little in the shaft, alternating pulse between arm and shaft, in sync pulse in both, a rollercoaster vibration in both, a second rollercoaster-type vibration that is different in a way I cannot explain, and a vibration pattern I can only describe as random pulses that kind of sound like a song.

Luckily the clitoral arm is super flexible, otherwise I would not like Ina at all. After inserting the shaft I have to bend and flex the arm to get it in the right position, if I just left it where it falls naturally I would get absolutely no clitoral stimulation at all and if that was the case I would simply use Mona instead. I say “luckily” because once I do get Ina positioned correctly it takes me nearly no time at all to have a wonderful hands-free orgasm.

This is the beauty of Ina. The arm, being positioned correctly, inserts an unbelievable amount of pressure. I love pressure in all things clitoral (except my Eroscillator) and I love Ina’s pressure. I love having something inserted and something on my clit and Ina is the only toy I own that does both of these very well and simultaneously. Does this mean Ina is my favorite toy ever? No. That honor is happily bestowed on the Eroscillator. It does mean, however, that Ina is amazing, compact, and a great dual-action vibrator and Ina is my favorite LELO toy. And that’s saying something.

Because Ina does everything it is also not the best couples toy, assuming your partner wants to be doing something to your genitals at the same time. If that’s not an issue then just forget I said anything.

As I already mentioned, the downfall of dual action vibrators are that they are so anatomy dependent. Ina will either work perfectly for you or not at all, and which one it is is nearly impossible to determine without trying the toy. Because of the flexibility in the clitoral arm I do believe Ina has a wider range for working with bodies than most dual action vibrators, but it may be a bit of a gamble if it will work with you or not.

Much thanks to Trystology for sending me the LELO Ina to review!

Lube Review: Swede Silicone Supreme

Written by Scarlet Lotus St. Syr

Up until recently I’ve been a water-based lube kind of person. For the longest time I eschewed silicone lube because of my fondness for silicone toys (since when silicone lube and silicone toys mix there’s a great possibility that there will be a chemical explosion that will destroy the toy forever! By which I mean, it will warp and/or melt the silicone and make it tacky and gross and essentially unusable). However, my acquisition of more metal sex toys recently as well as my love of glass toys and a fondness for longer lasting lube than most water-based lube will deliver has lead me to Swede Silicone Supreme.

I recently reviewed Swede Aqua Comfort which comes in the same bottle that’s nearly the same color but is water-based rather than silicone-base. While I wasn’t much of a fan of the Aqua Comfort lube itself I was blown away by the bottle. I love pump-style bottles on lube, they’re so much easier to use in the middle of sexing than flip-top or any other styles.

These are especially awesome because they come with not one but two ways to help reduce the risk of spillage: the top turns 90 degrees to lock and there is a cap to put on the top, both of these do not allow the top to be pushed down therefore no lube can come out. Brilliant? I think so. I’ve already lost the cap since it’s a pretty tiny little bit of plastic, but that’s okay because I can still lock it. It’s good to have a backup plan.

As for performance, I think it is excellent. However, I don’t have too many other silicone-based lubes to compare it to. Or, two to be exact, only one of which I’ve reviewed. I’ve used a few different types of silicone lube packets in the past but not consistently enough to give a great comparison. This does seem a little bit thinner than other silicone-based lube I’ve experienced, though not by much, but it works exactly the same as far as I can tell.

However, compared to water-based lube it excels in multiple areas. Although it is thin like many water-based lubes it is silky smooth, lasts for an extremely long period of time, and it will never get sticky. This also means you don’t need as much of it as you would water-based lube so the bottle will last longer as well. It doesn’t feel as natural as water-based lube, which I don’t like as much, but it’s not a deal-breaker. It also doesn’t contain any glycerin or parabens, those chemicals I usually rant about in water-based lube reviews.

Although it doesn’t have much of a smell or taste I would recommend staying with water-based lube for oral sex and primarily using silicone-based for vaginal and anal. Mostly this is because of the consistency. Since silicone lube is long lasting it can be long lasting in your mouth and leave it feeling kind of odd. Again, not horrible, but just kind of awkward and not pleasant. It’s especially perfect for anal, however since you don’t have to worry about it drying out at all.

Overall, it hasn’t become my favorite lube ever, but it’s definitely the first silicone lube I reach for when I’m looking for silicone lube. It hasn’t eclipsed Sliquid as my favorite brand, but it has convinced me that I need to get my hands on more silicone lube.

Much thanks to Trystology for sending me some Swede Aqua Comfort to review!

Unfortunately, the cute, awesomely tingly-looking nub didn’t reach my clitoris. *cry* But…The g-spot bulb was able to pin-point my clit in a way that the natural head of the wand couldn’t do.*wink* that felt gooOood. It was almost like having a super-strong vibrating nose tickling you to tip-top pleasure.I’m sorry; I didn’t even tell you that the bulbous end acted just perfectly as an internal titillator! Review: Afterglow Toy Tissues

Written by Scarlet Lotus St. Syr

The Afterglow Toy Tissues are extremely convenient antibacterial toy wipes. While they include ingredients I would shun a lubricant for including I can forgive that mainly because I always wash my any toy in between using an Afterglow and using it on a person again to be on the safe side, but I always wash my toys before using them anyway. There is also a question as to how much of these ingredients are actually left on the toy, but since I don’t know I like to err on the side of caution. I would definitely not recommend these being used for anything other than toys, they are not meant to be personal freshness wipes or any of that nonsense. For toys, though, they work wonders.

I’ve used these tissues on most body-safe toy types: silicone, metal, wood, glass, plastic, elastomer, and also elastomer/TPE, TPR, and jelly. None of these materials react negatively to it, and they all come out cleaner than before. It even gets cat hair off of silicone! If you have a cat and a silicone toy you know what I’m talking about. I don’t think these should be used in place of a good soap and water rinsing, and especially not to replace complete sterilization, but they definitely do their job and clean your toy for the time being. If you are the type who does not immediately get up and wash your toys after you use them (like just about everyone I know) these definitely have their use.

Prior to receiving this product to review I had experienced another pack of these which ended up getting opened in the back rather than in the front. The package has a resealable flap on the front to keep the moisture in and not dry out the individual tissues. Since this pack was open in the back rather than the front all of the tissues dried out. I was still able to use them by wetting them first and they worked well, but they were nowhere near as convenient. This shouldn’t happen if you make sure to reseal the package. Use my tale as a cautionary one, make sure to always reseal the package before storing to ensure the longest life possible for your Afterglow Toy Tissues.

This current batch of tissues I have now are individually sealed which is far more expensive than the multipack (about 3x as much), but minimizes the risk of drying out the pack before use. It also uses more plastic and comes in a cardboard container, both rather wasteful things. When purchasing in the future I would definitely go for the multipack.

The best use for these is quick cleanup while in the afterglow of an orgasm. No question that is where these toy tissues get their name from. They are highly convenient for cleaning off toys without having to leave the bed, couch, floor, or wherever you happen to be. For those of you not concerned with chemicals in them you don’t have to wash your toys every time after using these, you could skip a wash or two and simply use these instead since they are antibacterial. You could also use them prior to playing with your toys, especially on silicone to get all those little things silicone loves to attract off easily and quickly. They are also excellent for on-the-go fun, should you be somewhere you do not have convenient access to running water.

Overall, I love these, and use them just about every time I use a toy. Which is to say: a lot.

Much thanks to Trystology for sending me the Afterglow Toy Tissues to review!

Simply Blown Silky Glass Dildo Review

By @ Amber St. Clare

It was lust at first sight when I saw the Simply Blown Silky. This dildo is gorgeous! I’m a big fan of glass sex toys, and to me, you really get what you pay for. I refuse to use cheap quality sex toys, especially low quality glass toys, so I’m very picky about my choice of glass toys. Let me just say, that I adore Simply Blown! They are one of my very favorite glass toy brands. Their toys are stunning to look at, feel fabulous and high quality in the hand, and feel sinfully sexy in the body! I recently tried the Large Silky, in the pretty Amethyst color. This dildo is one of my prettiest sex toys. The purple color is bright, the purple glass is slightly domed beneath a layer of pure clear glass, and it makes the glass on the surface of the toy looks so gorgeous! I also love the packaging that the Simply Blown Silky Large comes in, the box is quality, not cheap at all, made of a firm and thick box with a little peep-show plastic window that you can see the toy displayed through. The toy is cradled by a thick foam that holds the toy in place so it doesn’t move around in the box.

Since the to is glass, it can be cooled down in the fridge or warmed up in a bowl of warm water. Also, since it’s seamless, and completely glass, it’s waterproof, and is easy to clean. It can also be used with any type of lubricant of your choice, including silicone lube. The tip of the toy is rounded, and the shaft head and base of the toy is completely smooth. The base of the toy is flat, so the dildo can sit up right on a flat surface, and the base is also flared so you can use the toy safely during anal use if you wish. This dildo measures in at 7.5 inches in length and 1.5 inches in diameter. So it’s definitely a large sized dildo, perfect for those who enjoy the feeling of toys that fill you up. Since this toy can be used for vaginal or anal use, this leaves your clit free for some other sort of stimulation, so don’t be shy about pairing this dildo with your favorite clit vibe for some extra fun I also think this toy would be fabulous for couples play, and the toy itself is so pretty that it would make a great gift for your lover.

I adore this dildo! I had an awesome time teasing the round end of the toy against my clit. The silky smooth feeling of the glass was tantalizing on my naughty bits. Also, with the super smooth glass, it made the lubricant not only longer lasting but also a little lube goes a long way with glass toys. The toy is definitely big and doesn’t have a tapered head, but after warming yourself up with some foreplay or a little self love, it’s a lot of fun to slide the Silky inside of your vagina. I liked the feeling of the cool glass inside of me, the toy warmed to my body temperature quickly and the flat base of the toy made the dildo easy to grasp and thrust. The dildo is a little heavy, as it’s thick glass, but not so much that it made my hand sore. It fit nicely in the palm, and the weight of the toy just added to the sensations. You can angle the rounded tip of the toy to tease your G-spot, or use the toy for shallow or deep thrusting. I’ve yet to try this toy anally, but as it’s a but too big for my intermediate booty, but maybe someday this toy is becoming a favorite of mine. It’s pretty, it’s sexy, and it makes my pussy feel awesome! Such a high quality product, and I can’t wait to try even more Simply Blown toys in the future.

Want to drool over your very own gorgeous Simply Blown Silky? If Amethyst purple isn’t your thing, the toy also comes in Ruby red, Aqua and Emerald green. Also, if Large isn’t your thing, Simply Blown carries this dildo in a Small and Medium size too! Get yours now at Trystology!

Jimmyjane Massage Candle Review

Written by Scarlet Lotus St. Syr

The Absinthe + Sugar Water Ember Massage Candle by Jimmyjane is a limited-edition scent. Like all of Jimmyjane’s massage candles it is a soy and shea butter based candle free of paraffin, lead, and the normal nasty chemicals I like to mention. It rests inside of a beautiful porcelain container that has a pour spout in one corner for ease of use. The Jimmyjane logo is etched in the lid which is made to be turned over and used as a stand for the candle to rest on while burning. It says it will burn for up to 72 hours, but I’ve burned it for quite a few already and have hardly made a dent in the amount of wax.

It comes in JimmyJane’s traditional white box with a silver logo and black and red accents. It is well padded inside and also includes a little instruction booklet. I was confused to find that the ingredients for the Absinthe + Sugar Water scent specifically were not listed in the instruction booklet, assuming because it is a limited edition item. I contacted JimmyJane directly in order to get the ingredients list below.

One big negative to the candle, and the only one I’ve really found, is that if you’re in a hot area or it’s a hot day the massage wax has a tendency to melt on it’s own. This is pretty normal, however, for massage oil candles, since they have a lower melting point than most candles. This does mean that the “wax” can be used as a balm, moisturizer, or even a solid perfume oil if you love the scent so much, and I do.

I was worried that the Absinthe + Sugar Water scent would be too strong of a licorice (or fennel, really) scent, since that is the most predominant taste of absinthe, but the combination of fennel, fig, lemon, and wormwood combines to be a subtle yet spicy fragrance. I’m not big on licorice and while there is a hint of licorice-like scent it is not overpowering or distracting for me. I actually really love the way this candle smells.

The wax is smooth and silky, it doesn’t feel greasy or tacky or weird like some massage oils have the tendency to do, but rather sinks into your skin and makes it that much more soft and deliciously scented. It’s a perfect massage oil when melted completely and the pour spout makes it super simple to apply.
