Light up your bedroom disco-style with Vibratex Butterfly Vibrator

As long as I’ve been in the business, Vibratex has been a classic brand that offers the original styles and shapes for vibrators!  Some of my favorite offerings have always been the light-up rainbow vibrators, specifically the Vibratex Butterfly vibrator and the Vibratex Thunder Cloud!

Hitatchi Magic Wand – Best Selling Sex Toy Now Even Better!

The Hitatchi Magic Wand (now re branded as the Magic Wand in 2014) is the #1 Selling Sex Toy in the World.  An undisputed title it has retained since the first trademark in 1968, or more accurately when Bettie Dobson popularized it in 1974.  The thing about the Hitachi Magic Wand at the time is that it could be purchased at convenience stores.  Or Macy’s even, as it was marketed as a back massager. Women quickly learned that they could achieve orgasms with the Magic Wand, and the rest is history!

What’s new in the Jimmyjane Form 2 Lux Edition?

Since it’s launch in 2010, Jimmyjane Form 2 has been the most popular vibrator for women at Trystology. When the Jimmyjane Form 2 first launched, it was a highly sought after toy for the reviewers! Two superb rabbit style vibrators compared!

As Lelo says in their marketing of the Lelo Ina Wave “Lose yourself in waves of uncontrollable pleasure.” It can be so true! Lelo Ina Wave is turning out to be a crowd favorite! But what, you might ask, is the difference between the original Lelo Ina 2 and the Lelo Ina Wave, and why would you pick one over the other? To understand this, we should look at both toys, and compare their features!

When Lelo Ina was first introduced, it was clearly different from the other rabbit style vibrators! It had a bulbous internal piece that was curved more to a peak, as though reaching up to hit the g-spot. It also featured a rabbit style probe that was curved “assertively” I like to say, toward the clitoris, never really relenting… always providing sensation and vibration. In truth, it is a very intense rabbit style vibrator, as the vibrational pattern and strength is very strong, and as I said before, unrelenting on its attention of the clitoris. This may be why it is the PERFECT toy for our power girls. You know who you are! (and if you’re not familiar with the term, which I may have coined, it’s about women who fancy strong vibration, like the Magic Wand, Doxy or any plug in vibrator!… Or a Jimmyjane Form 2 as well!)

The Lelo Ina 2, which can actually clip onto your hand during demonstration, is not a toy that I would recommend to women who like a more gentle touch on the clitoris. All women are different, so vibrators are different, and it’s important to know what you like, in order to be matched with the right toy! (my husband says I’m the Madam of Sex Toys… always matching people with the right vibrator!)

This is why it is so great to have the option for the Lelo Ina Wave. While Ina 2 was not compatible for many women, the Lelo Ina Wave has been adjusted slightly, opening up the rabbit node to allow for more flexibility, less clamping/clipping onto the clitoris. In addition, the vibration pattern has more variety, with the new power buttons, allowing women who like less sensation to be open to the Lelo Ina Wave. “What Can I Get Instead of the Eroscillator?”

I received two calls this week from customers who LOVE their Eroscillator, but needed an alternative 1) because they needed something waterproof that they could use in a hot tub and 2) because they were looking for something less cumbersome, and perhaps a little more powerful. It’s a bit challenging because the Eroscillator oscillates vs. vibrates.  it’s a difficult toy to compare and replace.

That said, my customers had dilemmas, so I set out to help!

My first customer needed a waterproof alternative to Eroscillator for use in the hot tub. Here are a few different angles we looked at:

In looking at an Eroscillator substitution, it would be good to know whether the customer likes the “handle” part of the Eroscillator, or the sensation.  If it’s the sensation, I’d recommend the Jimmyjane Form 2, Crave Duet or Crave Solo. If it’s the handle, I’d go with Lelo Gigi or Lelo Mona.

First and foremost I recommended the Jimmyjane Form 2.  It is our #1 selling female toy due to its small size, the two prong stimulation, and its unique vibration. It has a nice rumble versus a finer vibration or heavier vibration.  This would be my first recommendation for an Eroscillator replacement for a hot tub, especially for waterproof play.  It has a 3 year warranty and is waterproof rechargeable and quiet.  $145

Jimmyjane Form 2, Slate

A close second Eroscillator alternative would be the Crave Duet or Solo.  With the soft silicone, it’s a pretty cool toy that’s discrete, waterproof, has multiple sensations, and is travel friendly.  The difference between the two is that the Duet has two prongs, for nipple or clitoral stimulation, as well as a Turbo button for higher power. The Solo is one solid flat shape, and no turbo, but definitely a stronger than average sensation.  Both are waterproof, USB rechargeable and quiet.

For the user who likes the handle as an aspect of the toy, Lelo Gigi is a versatile g-spot and clitoral toy.  It doesn’t have a strong vibration, so if she’s into the gentle vibration, she may like this one.  With its flat head and handle, it is a popular toy.  The Lelo Gigi 2 is waterproof and has 8 sensations.

The Lelo Mona 2 is also a great g-spot and clitoral toy.  It has stronger vibration than the Gigi and has more girth.  For internal stimulation, and stronger, more pinpoint stimulation than the Gigi, Mona 2 is another great alternative to Eroscillator for waterproof play.

A more budget-friendly waterproof alternative to Eroscillator is the We-Vibe Tango, one of the most powerful mini toys we carry.  It is hard plastic, so I’m not sure it would be comparable, as some people find the strong vibration and the hard plastic to be numbing. However, it is waterproof, rechargeable and has 8 sensations… and runs $80.

One final suggestion I have for waterproof alternatives to the Eroscillator is my #2 selling couples set. it consists of a Leaf Life and a massage oil candle.  The Leaf Life is silicone, waterproof and has a variable sensation that goes from low to high, depending on the pressure/setting you set it on.  It’s a sweet tool for clitoral stimulation and nipple stimulation, but it’s also an amazing massage tool, and can be used on him or her. Leaf Life runs $95 and the candles run $30.

Another Eroscillator alternative recommendation I have is for the Doxy.  While it is not “less cumbersome,” it is one of the most powerful toys on the market.  Because I knew that this customer is one of the original “Plug In” power girls, this toy immediately came to mind.  So if you like a lot of vibration, Doxy is one of the best “power girl” toys on the market.  With 9000 RPM, it’s probably the strongest on the market.
